This piece was painted at Wildcat Camp along the Niobrara River east of Valentine, Nebraska. This is one of three waterfalls there which are called the Three Sisters. I loved this unusual composition which emphasized the light falling throughout the trees and down the waterfall...cascading like a waterfall of light. This painting is part of my "Yes This is Nebraska" series.
