This piece was painted on location in Bailey's Harbor, Wisconsin, during the 2011 Door County Plein Air Festival. The festival's information booth with the red umbrellas was set up in front of this building, Nathan Nichols Furniture. I loved the pops of red and the light on the building. It was fun to paint side by side with Bill Suys too.
