This was a demonstration painting I did while teaching a workshop at the Dismal River Club near Mullen, Nebraska in May 2024. It's such a beautiful place. The Nebraska Sandhills have such subtle colors and it's a challenge to paint them. And it made for great teaching/learning opportunities for my students!
