This was painted "en plein air" the same day as "Morning Fog - Angles sur l'Anglin", in a beautiful village in France. The fog from the morning had lifted by afternoon. I was so inspired by the warm reflected light on the face of the old church and the backlit buildings. It was a wonderful day painting next to the river.
