This plein air painting was created over two mornings in my back yard looking to the east to our neighbor's beautiful garden. The light and colors this spring have been some of the prettiest I can remember in the 29 years we've lived here, especially with all the redbud trees blooming. I took several photos but photos never capture the color and atmosphere like painting from life.
