Late Winter Wonder

Painted on location at Walnut Creek Recreation Area near Papillion, Nebraska. Painted on Monday, March 11th, 2019. We had a brief respite from the bitter cold and snow this day, so just had to get out and paint the snow before the bad weather that was forecast later in the week. That night and the following day we had torrential rains and thaw resulting in catastrophic flooding all over eastern Nebraska.
