This was a beautiful compound in the the Hill Country of Texas...very reminiscent of the countryside France and Italy. The owners had several llamas, one of which "kissed" my hat several times at the end of the day as I was finishing another painting! This painting won First Place for signature members in the 2009 Plein Air Artists Colorado Juried Members Exhibition at Abend Gallery, Denver Colorado.
