This was my Quick Paint piece from the 2017 Door County Plein Air Festival in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. I painted this view last year for the Quick Paint but did a horizontal format and included more boats from the marina. I really liked the horizontal composition this time...and at the last minute I even added a couple of figures by the small lighthouse for a pop of color.
