View from Il Palagio

This piece was painted in October during a trip to Tuscany. We stayed at Il Palagio, near Panzano in Chianti. The day was mostly cloudy with a few peeks of sun. I was attracted to the patterns of the fields on the hillside and the beautiful fall colors. This piece will be available at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art's biennial Art Auction, March 13-15, 2008. For more information, go to www.mmfa.org.
