Painted in the studio from reference photos and a plein air study. This scene is about 5 miles from my studio...a favorite place for my little granddaughter and I to go looking for cows on the bumpy country roads. The beautiful atmosphere on this hazy summer day was irresistable. The cows were just chilling out in the cool shade of the tree. Just a wonderful, peaceful scene.
